A stunning individual performance in a do-or-die victory allowed Kostas Sloukas of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens to earn Game 4 MVP honors in the 2023-24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs with a PIR of 32.
Sloukas led Panathinaikos to an 88-95 road victory over Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, tying the best-of-five series and forcing a Game 5 at OAKA in the Greek capital next week. He netted 20 points on 5-of-9 two-pointers, 1-of-2 three-pointers and 7-of-7 free throws, in addition to adding 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 5 fouls drawn. Sloukas earned MVP of the Round honors for the third time this season and for the fifth time in his career, including last season’s Game 5.
Shaquielle McKissic of Olympiacos Pireaus, Sloukas’s former teammate, amassed a PIR of 28 in his team’s 92-58 triumph over FC Barcelona. McKissic had 21 points on 6-of-7 two-pointers, 2-of-4 three-pointers and 3-of-3 free throws, as well as 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 fouls drawn. Kendrick Nunn of Panathinaikos recorded a PIR of 27 against Maccabi, getting 27 points on 6-of-8 two-pointers, 3-of-7 from downtown and 6-of-6 free throws, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 fouls drawn. Mathias Lessort, also of Panathinaikos (26 PIR), and Georgios Papagiannis of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (20) complete the top individual performances in Game 4.

Kendrick Nunn of Panathinaikos led all scorers by netting 27 points in his team’s 88-95 road victory at Maccabi. Markus Howard of Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz leads the playoffs in scoring at 18.7 points per game.
Nikola Milutinov of Olympiacos and Georgios Papagiannis of Fenerbahce were the best rebounders in Game 4, pulling down 11 apiece. Walter Tavares of Real Madrid ranks first in the playoffs at 9.7 per night.
Tamir Blatt of Maccabi dished 7 assists, more than anyone in Game 4, against Panathinaikos. Baskonia’s Codi Miller-McIntyre is the playoff assists leader at 8.0 per game.
Tomas Satoransky of FC Barcelona collected 3 steals against Olympiacos, leading all players in Game 4. Thomas Walkup of Olympiacos is first overall at 2.3 in 4 playoff games.
Mathias Lessort of Panathinaikos had a career-high 4 blocks against Maccabi. Tavares is also first in blocks at 2.7 per game.
Papagiannis was the only player to post a double-double in Game 4, getting 10 points and 11 rebounds against Monaco.
